LIVE OAK, FL, April 2, 2012 – After working on a web redesign over the last several months, the Suwannee River Water Management District has hit a home run with its new website. This is the first time the website has undergone major upgrades since 2006. It has a fresh look. It is packed with information.

The new SRWMD web site is here.

Many of the district's unique natural resources are highlighted and the photos are spectacular.

The website also has new features and capabilities, including a module for alerts and notices that allows you to view important and timely information for flooding events and updates. Additionally,  prescribed fire activity and District land closures are also on tap.

If you would like to be advised about the events, you can subscribe through the Notify Me feature.

The website provides useful water resource information including rainfall and water level data; recreational opportunities on District lands; and notification of when various items are posted to the website, including monthly Governing Board materials, the latest issue of RiverFronts newsletter, and meetings and documents related to water supply planning and surplus lands.

The District Web Coordinator, Deborah Parker, has done a bang up job with the new redesign and it will keep you coming back.
