After going 0-2 on the first day of competition, the Sliders have a chance to even things up today.

Last night from Richmond, Wendy Dorhn told the Observer that the girls had a tough day, getting blown out in first game 10-0.

In the second game they were one run behind until the 6th inning, when one of the challengers hit a ball over the head of the Sliders centerfielder, which "rolled and rolled," said Ms. Dorhn.

The score ended up with the sliders taking it on the chin 6-1.

Today is a new day and Destiny Hill reported this morning from Richmond that the Sliders have clear heads and are ready for action.
