Steve Brown 2011 Lake City Employee of the Year knows where the pipes are buried
A surprised Steve Brown (left) received the Employee of
the Year award from Mayor Steve Witt (right) as City
Manager Wendell Johnson tells the audience a little bit
about Mr. Brown. Mr. Brown began his career with
the city in 2008, took many courses to improve his
skills and puts customer service number one. He makes
sure that all the city underground gas pipe is sound.

Last year's Supervisor of the Year, Grayson Cason (on right), was paid back by City Clerk Audrey Sikes for "something." No one was sure what it was, but it had everyone smiling.

If you call Lake City and go through the switch board, you will be greeted by Verna Ingram. If you visit City Hall, Ms. Ingram will direct you to your destination.

By the end of the evening all the awards and door prizes were given out to the folks that make Lake City work.
